How'd the interview go?

Don't be so sure that the younger applicants will be preferred. A relative of mine is getting back in the job market now that her kids are getting bigger, and she was very concerned about anyone wanting to hire an almost-fifty-year-old-lawyer who hasn't worked in a firm in a looooooooong time. But she has been getting a lot of encouragement from hearing that employers are not necessarily dismissing the older applicants anymore, that there are employers out there who are looking for more 'seasoned' people.

Good luck.
