Yeah, but...
those genes happen to come packaged in a great mom who is sensitive to what is going on with her son--perhaps sensitive and aware and ready to deal with it immediately and appropriately especially because she herself has those genes and the experiences she has had herself because of those genes. And he has the added advantage of early detection and access to better treatment early in the game before the "kindling effect" can take hold.
