Why you can't leave us!!!

Posted by Greg on July 8, 2003, at 18:23:48

Racer,

While my memory may have taken a beating over the last few years, I remember with crystal clarity that you owe me a lunch date! I insist on collecting on these types of things my dear. So let's make plans to have lunch, talk awhile, enjoy our meal. I won't ask you for anything beyond that point. And I can promise you that we won't talk about anything that you don't want to talk about, I won't pass judgements, I'll just try to be a good friend. Maybe after we eat, we could find a park nearby (there lots of those) and just sit and talk, you could let me know what you're feeling inside. Trust me, there's few feelings better than to explain feeling of depression and suicide to someone who really, really understands what you're going thru, AND won't judge you for it.

I'm offering my friendship to you, it's all I have that may be worth something. But know that you don't have to be alone sweetie. People are reaching out here, and I'm in the enviable position of being able to reach out in person.

This is my offer to you. I still very selfishly don't want to lose you.

My email is gbwhite at comcast dot net.

Please think it over. If you don't contact me I won't get my feelings hurt or be angry. I understand what you're feeling all too well. But I hope you do drop me a line. There's always tomorrow, or the next day, or next week to go thru with your plans. Let's see if we can't come up with some alternatives. Whattya say? Please?

Sending you a hug,
Greg
