Something someone said must have really stung hard to make you want to leave. It has been very nice to have you here again, but if you need to go, well, I will miss you. I still remember from a time long ago your posts that touched me deeply.
Any chance you could let that thread float away, and consider it part of how life is when interacting with people from diverse backgrounds, who don't know you or you them? It is clear that your post was meant to convey concern about our collective future, a view I also have, and even if it has been happening elsewhere in the US and the world, it is still shocking when something about it hits close to home or strikes a chord with you personally.
Well, it'll be a treat for us if you stay, and we will understand if you want to take a break. Take care.
