Oh Shar that is so sweet that you're concerned- but I have gone off meds when pregnant so I know I risk symptoms. But the good thing is I trust my pdoc and if he says I'm getting manic (which is what causes all my and my family's problems), I'll take medication to stall it- not happily, but I will do it. So, yes, I'm tapering 1 at a time- giving my body 2 weeks or so to adjust to each dose change. I find myself getting more and more dissociative and agoraphobic- and this is where the service dog will come in. He will be trained to see if I zone out to start pawing at me or licking me to bring me back- very similar to epilepsy aide dogs and of course be a companion everywhere (stores, grocery shopping, etc.) so I won't panic. They can also get meds for you- and the big thing if you're depressed, they kind of force you to get up and take care of them and then you in the process. You didn't say how you were doing, you mentioned anxiety- is that not under control? What do you take for that? I forgot how active you are with your therapist, I've gone to 2x/week- but get scared a lot so I land up doing 1x a week. I'm more frightened of remembering things but I do understand the 'process'. Sorry so long (but you did ask :-). I hope you are well and let me know how things are going- judy
