Speaking of cold-I came home from work today to discover that the heat pump was not working. Outside it is about 25 degrees (F) and in here it is now 48 degrees and falling. I'm wearing a zillion layers of assorted clothing and have the dryer running (vented inward) and the oven on. I'm gonna need the extra heavy wool blankets tonight.
Heating techs are coming in the morning. I only hope I don't have to replace the whole thing, but it is very old.
