Tonga got a bit flattened. Apparently it was because an under-water volcano exploded. That doesn't sound like the most plausible explanation, to me, however, given what else is going on with nuclear weapons testing by North Korea etc etc in the region.

The trouble with the whole tennis thing is that it looks like poor sportsmanship, at base.
That will be how it will be viewed.
Not as rule of law being upheld (where politicians have perhaps even unlimited discretion to 'take back' visas on 'political grounds' (aka veto out whomever they like -- maybe those who don't pay them enough in bribes or sexual favors)...
But as poor sportsman-ship. Where everything else is just an excuse. Thinly veiled.
Would they be going after him the same way if they thought he wouldn't do well in the Australian Open?
They say they are worried about people following him and breaking the law... Not getting vaccinated.

In NZ they locked up Brian Tamaki because they thought people turning out to political protests around lock-down etc might actually VOTE for the POLITICS AND RIGHTS PARTY that he was involved with.
That is to say they went after him to try and disperse his voting population. They intentionally tried to undermine / prevent him politically campaigning by criminalising him.
Which becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy when it comes to intentionally being a world-magnet for all the criminal psychopaths out there.

the problem is the non-clinical medical triage that occurs at the first port of entry into the hospital system / tertiary care.
it goes like this:
what post-code does your GP practice in?
if it is a deprived post-code then we know the aim is to not take the referral / to keep the person in deprivation or to have them die quickly, really.
what is your health insurance number?
becuase in a nation that goes on and on and on about how terrible things are in the USA our main aim or goal or objective is to keep NZers more deprived than the state or federal care (both) offered in the USA to people without health insurance.

it's the post-code INEVITABILITY. in other words.
the whole goal or aim or ideal or objective is to keep as many people in intergenerational poverty (decline) as possible.
for the amusement of an elite... one or two.
it's all a great hierarchy of life that's sooooooo competitive that everything must be nuked to the ground as quickly as possible really
