Fda has banned and pulled Darvocet and Darvon due to heart attacks. Seems was already banned in Europe and UK quite a few years ago. Phillipa

Sort of. It is no longer an approved/licensed drug, but doctors can still prescribe it if necessary.

Sometimes other treatments don't seem to work well, or cause side effects.

Like euphoria, addiction, crowding out the surgery with addicts who can't find relief elsewhere?

Co-proxamol is paracetamol dextropropoxyphene. It was formerly prescribed a lot for arthritis pain and some patients insist that nothing else works as well for them.

That excuse only works one way though. Please give me the Dilaudid back. It's the only thing that works. It amuses me when someone gets the big C and they throw the morphine at you, and you think, yeah, they're more frightened of it than me.
