The happiest years were my forties working felt great about me no meds occasional low dose of a benzo and felt good. How can I get the twenty years back and live them again? Think the hormones will work? Love Phillipa

Not to unblow up anyone's skirt or trouser leg but I don't think we have evolved very much on the search for recapturing youth since Juan Ponce de León. He didn't find it either ; )

One of the Chinese emperors assembled his doctors and asked them to prepare a potion to make him immortal. He killed quite a few of them and the rest became nervous. Someone dished him up something with lots of minerals in it and the emperor died.
Thank God it hasn't been any worse. Thank God it's almost over. Count to 10.

Just think when you're in your eighties you'll be wishing you had the vim & vigor you have now.

I'm not sure, but I remember superman use to fly around the world backwards at the speed of light and he would go back in time. I do have some new running shoes, maybe...

There's still a lot of time to find happiness again Phillipa. One day you're gonna be able to put all this behind you. Also like you told me, many might give the appearance of happiness but actually aren't.
How long have you been taking the hormones now? Think they're doing anything? Remember when were talking about low-dose Prozac - ever ask your new doc about it?

btw why did you have to stop having your beers - was it something medical? I don't personally see anything wrong with some drinking if there's nothing medically preventing it. Of course you have to be careful with your health as you get older but it seems you are very fit and active.

Two months on the hormones one great day felt normal seriously. Then some bleeding slight after l5 years will take a bit less of cream for a few day. Levels dramatically changed over the two months as just got back the bloodwork results. As for prozac I'm really not depressed right now. Feel free to write. Love Phillipa
