I myself love the heat and hate the cold and Fall seems to be putting on long sleeves again and pants that may be too tight. I like the summer. What do you like best? Phillipa

I love Spring the most, then fall, then summer, than winter. Love stepping on the crunching leaves and smelling the smoke in the air from the fireplaces in the neighborhood.

I am apparently the only woman in the world who loves wearing pantyhose. Fall signals a return to this wonderful leg apparel. I love fall!

I wear my pants, a pullover fleece, all bundled up, but not too much. A mildly windy overcast day, about 50 degrees is PERFECT weather. The leaves on the ground. AND THEN in during the night and in the early morning, the smell of the outdoors is wonderful. It's a moist fresh smell you don't get in the summer (too hot). I love it. I wait all year for this.

Dark early is one part of fall I hate. No, Christmas traffic is another. I wish we'd adopt Daylight Savings Time all year round.
On the other hand, my mood is definitely picking up this week as it gets cooler. It always has.
I always would try to wheedle my mother to let me stay home on the first day of "not hot" so I could frolic like I did on the first day of "not hot" that came on weekends. It always seemed to me that the first day of "not hot" should be a national holiday marked by frolicking.

it would be nice. I remember beautiful springs when I was younger, but these days, there isn't one in NY; it stays cold and raw, and then jumps into hot and humid, almost overnight.
So I like fall a lot more, because there seems to be one; but I would love having spring back again.

Me too must be happening at least all over the northeast as in NC it was cold l month and then so hot you couldn't stand it. Now the same is happening in fall but the daylight savings is ruining everything. Rode bike in the dark tonight or evening. Phillipa

Fall is the most beautiful time, esp. in Lancaster County, Pa. The beautiful farmland and rolling hills, the leaves changing colors, the pumpkins and rainbow of mums growing in the Amish fields for miles and miles.
