Hey, happy birthday! I thought of you today when I heard the weather report in my car on the way home. I always associated "partly cloudy" with you, of course. Today when they mentioned "clear skies," I smiled and thought how nice it was to be able to associate you with bright and cheerful and fresh. :)

Thanks again, whew!! This is like getting a whole bunch of birthday cards - so nice!
I had a lovely, quiet day, and endured the inevitable family phone calls (so hard when you only talk once a year! What do you say? "Um, yep, I'm still depressed - and you?" but I got through them). And of course, it's great to be remembered.I'm being whisked away for a long weekend to NYC. What a treat!! I haven't been there in over 9 years. I'll have to bring a sweater, or maybe even a light coat!!!! I'm so excited.

The weather should be beautiful this weekend in NYC. Have a great time! I go a couple times a year. My brother lives in Manhatten. I've gotton to be a pro driving into the city and navigating my way around. It's really not that bad at all. Go to Cannal Street for some good shopping. My girlfriends and I are planning a trip next month. Have fun!!Polarbear
