Best Coffeemaker

Posted by Fivefires on September 1, 2007, at 19:19:48

I had a Braun which had all the features I liked in all the right places. But, would have been my 2nd $30 motor(?) replacement.

Coffeemakers are verrryyyyy important 2me. The appliances, I mean.

Now there is this whole movement towards stainless thermo, and even grinding! o_o

(Jeez looks like hurricane outside window and I'm in the desert.)

New Mr.Coffee drips when supposed to pause and grounds get in coffee and doesn't beep at me when it's ready!

So, thinkin' black Cuisinart Pause & Brew (Brew & Pause?) w/ sterling thermo decanter (don't want brushed sterling on appliance re: fingerprints).

What's been any1 elses experience w/ coffeemakers?

(My spoon chimes are really tinkling(?). They're pointed at the head of the lady downstairs; lucky 4her not forks.)

tks, 5f

Look at the Capresso coffee-makers. I just got an MT-500 Plus and I'm very happy with it. Best coffee I've had in years.

Tks dmlvt!

I'm still putting up w/ my 'new' Mr. Cof*ee NOT pausing when I go for my first cup and GROUNDS pouring out w/ the last cup!

Will return to Wal-*art, after find new one. (I'm soooooo bad.) Probably just need a nice evenin' cup of coffee.

Almost bought a Cuisinart over wkend, but read reviews saying 'too many little parts and was hard to clean', and then it had a glass carafe, so was a no-buy.

I'll check this one out!!!

tksagain, 5f
