if the wing is attached with duct tape, don't do it!!!

serisouly, i once flew in a small plane that looked to have a wing attached that way. pretty scary, but made it.

have the best day phil! and don't dare fly this way! (there is a civil war festival going on though. wouldn't that be a hoot! give em just a small scare :)

It was a blast! When he told me I was going to taxi, take off, fly it, and land it, I went gulp. lol
The only thing that was kind of tricky was taxiing cause you're steering with your feet. Just takes practice. Lifting off the ground was a complete, total, unreal rush!
We circled downtown Austin, UT, basically anything west of I 35. We were flying at about 110-120 knts at 2000', or 2500' above sea level.
We were in the air about 35 minutes.

Captain Phil

Dude! That is so so awesome! Seriously! Wow!

Personally, I've always wanted to go ski diving. Of course I'm afraid I'll like, pee my pants or throw up or something, but still, how exciting!!!! That is really, seriously, brave of you. And so freaking cool!!!

Thanks T..I'm up late, for me, cause I've still got adrenaline rushing. lol
Awesome experience.

My brother sent me a picture of my father. I'll add it. I didn't know my dad really. Parent's divorced when I was 5 and I saw him for half a day when I was 16. That was it. Love the pic of him still.

Pat!

So, you were the one! If I get my license, I'll fly us down to Corpus for dinner. : ) Make that lunch,
I'll only be able to fly by sight, not by instruments at night.
BTW, do you have eight grand to spare??

Too dumb to be scared,
Phil

Tell them Captain Phil sent ya. lol For $59.00, it's a deal!

I'm thinking the Georgetown airport may have lessons available. I may find all the flight schools I can and get flying time on the cheap.

that'd be so exciting phil. i sw skydivers the other day. there's a place close to where i live. mr kk saw the plane landing and thought it was going to hit our car. i kept pointing and saying 'there's the airport, there's the airport' but, he didn't get it.

can i go with you next time? i'll be the flight attendant and you can call me heidi... (yes, i realize, lack of space, but i have the ability to hide in overhead storage and have a new recipe for a mint julip)

Hi Phil,

Very cool pictures. I get air sick so I don't think Captain Phil would want me on his flight crew, but if I take meds can I come aboard?
