Best Before dates

Posted by Glydin on July 3, 2006, at 11:33:03

Purchased some mint patties that have a "Best Before" date of 03/22/07 and here's the kicker 18:32.... as if to IMPLY at 18:31 on that date they are still at their best but after that.....

Okay, it's a bit of a boring day for me.

I want you to save a patty and mark your calendar. You can have a mint patty expiration party next year. Who knows, maybe it will shrivel up and turn green at 18:32:01

When I got my hair cut this weekend, I was shocked to discover a "best before" date stamped on my head

It read 12/30/05.

No time was stamped on it however.

Should i tell my pdoc?

So you're bored too? And is it as hot there as it is here? Love Phillipa

I'm gonna do that!

I did discover that 3 of them were indeed at their best when I posted.

Hot as a firecracker here.
We just had a thunderstorm, that cooled it down a bit.

Yes, but at least if it had been 6/6/06, I would have been able to return my head for a full-refund or at least an in-store exchange. You see, my head started spoiling long before the 6th of June of this year.

phew-wee! spoiling head is sumthin' stinky!

Oh I'm so very sorry for your plight - as I'm laughing my head off - too funny....

Just be careful laughing your head off, I'm not sure if that's covered by the warranty.

I still have a few months left in my extended coverage plan. I'm thinking it's a good time to get all my meds adjusted and let the therapist muck around inside my head to his heart's content. After that, I don't know what I'm going to do.

Maybe I'll laugh my head off and wait for a new one to grow back in its place. How long does it take?

~~~ I know it takes a long time to grow nails and hair out when you want to, so I'm thinking it could take quite a while.
Good point. I should try my hardest to keep the one I've got in working condition. Whatever "working condition" means. I HATE working!!
Sounds like a good plan. You seem to be doing pretty well there in that category... I hope so.
shower,
brush teeth,
dress for the occasion,
comb and tease the hair until it looks like it's naturally windtossed.
brush up on odd 3 and 7 letter words in case a scrabble game breaks out later,
and refrain from capes or hula hoops.
