Mad **trigger**

Posted by gee on January 12, 2006, at 15:22:53

The other night a good friend had a breakdown and went down to her room and sat with her, and helped her, and got her RA. My friend was really at times because she wanted me to leave so she could kill herself. But I stayed.

Now, she's saying that this other person has helped her so much, and she can't thank her enough and she's always saying what a great friend this other person is. Does she not realize what I did? I may not go down to her room everynight, but we talked almost every night.

Her "episode" has made some really unwanted feelings come back, and it hasn't been an easy week. I'm mad that she doesn't seem to care that I've been there for her. Is it wrong that I want her to know I'm trying to help her through her tough time? If she's gonna come out and say how much her other friend means to her, then why does she come to me? Was I at the time, just the best she could get?

Just know that you made a difference and that shows character whether she sees it or not. You are a true friend and I hope she sees that. (((HUGS)))

Gee, I'm sorry I know how upset you've been over her. That was horrible and after all you've done for her but remember what I said last night. Dx. Fondly, Phillipa

She may not see what you did, but God saw. He will bless you.

Also, you could tell your friend how you are feeling. Just tell her that your feelings are hurt and tell her why.

You are a wonderful friend. A wonderful friend is priceless.

Lynn

Thanks Wildcard. I've calmed down now, and I'm glad I could be with her when she needed me.

Thanks Lynn. It gets hard to remember not to do things for yourself, or for recognition. I know I don't but when people go around thanking others, but forget you, it's hard not to be upset.

But I have calmed down, and maybe she wants our relationship to go a different way. I know whatever is meant to happen God will lead me
