tick tick tick...

Posted by alexandra_k on May 2, 2005, at 19:19:14

Giving my first tut (after a three week 'holiday') in about... 50 minutes.

Eep.

I'm sure it will go okay. And then I'll be back in work mode.

(I'll just say that over and over and then it JUST HAS TO BE TRUE).

Yup.

Back to it.
There is this wrenching feeling in my gut...
But I probably shouldn't go there.
Wish me luck.

Don't sweat it kiddo, you're so totally awesome how could it be anything but okay. Puppy woofs her agreement too.

Luck! (nm)

Tut is Kiwi for tutorial, I presume. If so, you've taught us all a thing or two, so it probably went just fine.

Then again, 'toot' in Yankee has something to do with flatulence which is bad for the nose or something to do with cocaine which is also bad for the nose.

Yup. A tut is a tutorial. Pronounced 'tute'. Its just an abbreviated version. Hasn't anyone else heard that one? I didn't think that was distinctively kiwi... Hmm...

It went... ok. Ok. Fine. Lots of marking to do this weekend. Yuk.

6 weeks... 6 weeks...
Well... 5 weeks and 2 days to go really.
I will MAKE MYSELF GET THROUGH.
And when that is done
I am going to crash.
I am going to rant and rail and scream if I feel like it.
Go f*cking crazy.
Have a breakdown maybe.
Lock myself in my room for a month maybe.
Do whatever I f*cking want for one whole month.
I imagine I literally will fall apart.
And then...
Time to write my thesis.

Yeh we have tutes here too.

Lots of marking :-( Looks like you need ot invoke the old toss up the stairs plan.

Hmm, your plan of action for 5 weeks and 2 days from now sounds rather attractive but I'll pass on the thesis part. Other than that I'm withya.

Now you be a good girl and go and get some dinner. Hope you have nice snuggly sleep with lots of sweet dreams.

Hmm. Yeah. Still, it won't be too bad. I've had worse (in the sense that I have had more and have also had longer essays).

Aw. You sure you don't want to write it for me?
If everyone writes a section it shouldn't be too hard ;-)

Had dinner.
Need to prepare for tomorrows lot.
Still.
Finished at 1.pm instead of 6pm today - so that was nice.
And I start at 10am instead of 9am tomorrow.
My two changes in schedule.
I shall be sure to really really appreciate them.

You have a good night too.

So a pass isn't all that important then???? =0). If I thought I could help with it I'd do it in a heart beat.

Glad you got the schedule changes, might make it a little more bearable.

I asked puppy to dream herself next to you so you'd have her snuggly warm dogness there with you. She thought that was a good idea and wagged her tail enthusiastically and ran off to beddie byes to get started.
