Thanks mate. I didn't think you came to see me in the altogether. So far, my birthday has been a real dazzler. But I was hoping for a lamington or two. The Krug will suit me fine. So here's to Damos and here's to me. Now I'm off me face and *rse over t*ts like the ocher I am. Keep this from me sheila OK?

Happy Birthday from me, too! You naughty boy, you. I will check out your v.b.s. tomorrow if you like. I will. Really. {giggle}

Well, me and the other Care Bears, we're kinda not too equipped for baking, being bears and all, and besides, those two cakes sounded like MORE than enough. So we just have a regular ole virtual hug for you...

(((Toph))) Hope the day is/was special...as you are. -- 10derHeart

My glass is raised. Happy Birthday to a lovely person. I notice nobody asked how old you are today. May I be the first? You may politely decline to respond, if you wish.

Did I miss your birthday Toph?

I have been in and out of functioning awareness over the past several weeks. Sorta like a functioning alcoholic, which I am and somewhat like walking phneumonia. Needless to say, I have been dealing with many issues and still been able to functions as I usually do, and noone is the wiser. One issue of which apparently I have shared with your wife unbeknownst to me. I however did not have to be cut upon and was basically poo-pooed by my doctor, but my concern was justified by a radiologist.........and my fears calmed just the same by him. But anyway, I digress from the purpose of my post, and I seem to be out of the loop on many threads here, just caught up partially this morning. I couldn't let your birthday go unnoticed by me. Happy belated birthday. I hope it was a wonderful day, sounds like it probably was. Cheers to you, you beautiful, funny, sarcastic, poetic, artistic, and yes, loving man. I can tell in your posts about your family that you are a good father and husband. Keep up the good work, and celebrate your life.

Ada, full of sugar this morning, Grace

I'm sorry you've been having a tough time of it.

I'm glad at least some of your worries were laid to rest and I'll say a toast to you, as well, while I lift my glass for Toph's birthday!

I had a glass of wine and toasted to you last night when I finished "moving into the apt" for the evening (about ten o'clock my time), just so you know another birthday wish is out there for you, Toph!!!

Sooooooo happy to hear about J***; I had a feeling she was being ultra snippy because she was scared.... I have a tendency to do that, too)

My better half made me breakfast, we went to the dog park together (I usually take Gus myself), we looked for stuff at Home Depot for our renovated bathroom, all my kids called without me having to remind them, then we went to have dinner with my parents. J*** was so nice to me all day and the Cubs, Sox and Bulls all won (without my watching them).

I stayed away from the computer, mostly out of fear that 10derheart would see me in my birthday suit. But what a nice surprise to see that you guys care about a 53 year old manic-depressive (as they called it when I got it). What a nice gift to hear from Gracie.

All in all, it was a pretty good day despite my advancing age. I am reminded of something my grandmother would say when we celebrated her birthday:

"Birthdays are like boogers, the more you have, the harder it is to breathe."
She was quite the poet, my grandmother.

Thanks again, everyone.

It came out of the oven a while ago. You know it's mostly air? Air and chocolate, kirsch and eggs and sugar. Then there's the cherries and whip cream, that has lots of sugar and a bit of kirsch as well. We're going to have it tonight. I'll be thinking of you, and make you and J*** one when you come to this part of the country.

You know, one man's thoughtful could be another woman's pleasure. (gosh, that's horrid writing)

Ya, I did have my horns showing on that one, didn't I?

It would have been funnier if you heard me say it, and saw the twinkle in me eye.

TDH, I couldn't find my birthday suit speedo Sunday. You'll just have to settle for this picture of me on the Birthday Suit site.

Harsh Larry. I assure you that Vixen has never so much as batted an eye when I have approached her in my birthday suit.

Nice pic Toph, but I really think you should calm down.....that vein in the side of your neck seems to be about to burst........and why aren't you smiling? Any man who looks like Adonis (however the heck you spell that) should be smiling, straight at the camera, straight into my eyes, mesmerising me, speeking to my mind......or should I say loins..........okay, okay, now I need a wet cloth to bathe my sweating brow......

Ada, extreemly infatuated with Toph's Birthday Suit, Grace

You look pretty good for your age ;-)
Not a man breast in sight.
But I thought birthday suits were meant to be a little skimpier than that...

boy, did I need a laugh today!!!

oh, and Lar? I DID see the twinkle in your eye... funny how the more posts we read, the better we can get a feeling PAST the typed word, isn't it?!?

I LOVE that!!!

And I'm quite sure that Toph is firmly in between the body types he's pictured! But the images were a fantastic touch to the thread... couldn't stop giggling while reading it through!

Now I am in need of McDonald's french fries and a cold shower!!! Wish I could tell you in what order, but not sure it really matters...

Okay, that was just gross!!!!!!! (nm) » Toph
