I love my Hamster!

Posted by Shy_Girl on April 22, 2005, at 16:41:36

I love my hamster sooo much now. He is so cute! He does his usual hamster things and I never tire of seeing them. He's always licking and grooming himself...he does this funny thing, it looks like he is messing up his 'hair' with his front paws. :-) He stuffs his cheeks with so much food, he can't even close his mouth...and can hardly fit through the tubes!

I remember when I first got him, I was angry at my hamster for a bit when I realized that he wouldn't do what I wanted him to do (I can be very childish with my emotions). I even teased my hamster in semi-cruel ways. :-(

I've learned to accept and love my hammy just the way he is. I have to take lots and lots of pics of him before he dies :-(. In a couple more months he will be 3 years old. I'm sad he will have to die.

Sorry about rambling on about my pet, I can be annoying sometimes. :-)

My hamster's name is Hammie, original eh? Before I could come up with an actual name for my hamster, I called him Hammie and then it stuck!

Hehe, I bet your 4 cats would just LOVE to play with my hamster! Poor hammie, probably would last a sec!

I like your cat's names, especially Mr. Pig! Does that mean he/she is a fat cat? I like cats too. They live much longer than hamsters, plus they like to butt their heads against me, that feels funny.

> They are all nice and stink. Litter pans.... i wear a oxygen mask before i have nuero toxity from extreme zoo odor.

Believe it or not, my hammie uses a litter box too! With real kitty litter! He only pees in the litter though, he poops everywhere.

Wow, a real oxygen mask? Sounds serious. I don't know anything about 'nuero toxity'. Hope you're ok.

It was nice to talk to you Matt.

Your hamster sounds really cute.
I don't have any pets anymore.
I have had dogs and cats and fish and mice
And when I was little I had a rabbit
And when I was really little I had a hamster
But I don't remember him much
Except I 'helped' him down the slide at kindy (pre-school)
And every one said it would be too much for his heart and he would die
But I knew they were wrong
And they were HAH!
(Lucky for me and Mr. Hamster).
No animals anymore.

Just a wombat soft toy.

Kinda like them, but dare I say mine is cuter :-)
He's called mouse because from above he looks kinda like a picture of a mouse that had the obesity gene (or something) from one of my psych text books.

Mr. Pig is grey striped, tubby and fat, looks exactly tiger in the face. Just push him, he'll roll 3 times so big.

my fav kitty is superkitty! runs throught the house like superman! jerks at the slightest movement. vrrrrrooooom!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he's a scream!

Lightning is superkitty's brother. He almost has his capabitities but not quite. He's fast though.

Kitty is just kitty, sits like mr. pig eats and enjoys the sun throught the window. He's orange and white, mix color. He's doesnt like to be bothered alot, but i pester him anyways...
After he eats doesnt want to be bothered, but i make sure i make him do something active. Pluck 1 stand of his hair, so he'll swat at me and get mad. kekehehe.

most of my cats would not be intrested in hammie, especially kitty since he's so lazy. mr. pig does more things than him.

superKitty would be the one to predetor at him, with lightning.

Ok, those are my cats. Crazy.

Have nice day.

Matt

A parrot???
Cool!!
What colour is he?
My sisters were keen on cockatoos
They were always trying to teach them to talk
But they wouldn't really.
One day one of them heard a bomb go off on some tv show.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
BOOM!

The bird just loved to do that!
It only heard it once, but would do it therafter.

The other one was when my sisters boyfriend hit his leg on the table one day and hollared F*CK! The bird picked that one up too. Probably reinforced by peoples reaction to that.

He used to go absolutely mental when he saw himself in a mirror. Started attacking my sister. Maybe 'cause he was jealous 'cause he thought she had another bird - or maybe that is attributing too much to his birdie brain, I don't know. She removed the mirrors from the lounge where he used to fly around.

One day he walked under the glass coffee table and looked up - same saga.

Wow, having cats seems fun! Hehe, it must look funny to roll Mr. Pig!

Is superkitty really a kitty? I had a kitten in my house before, it went crazy! It started running sooo fast, jumping up and around the room over furniture and everything!

LOL it would be funny to see hammie with a cat next to him...or better yet, have hammie ride on top of a cat! Maybe we could put hammie in a suit of armour to protect him! :-P

Thanks for sharing you cat stories with us!

All the best!

I think it'll be really cool to have a parrot or something (one of those talking birds). I've heard that some birds can live a very long time. They can also get extremely attached to their owners. I heard a story about a woman who had an African Grey or something that wouldn't let the woman's husband share the bed! Yikes, better be sure one's partner is bird compatible as well!

superKitty is definently one jetblack, yellow sharp eyes, some tone muscle. None Fat.

Kitty's nic name is nasty, becuase he stinks my bathrooms up all the time. He suffers with depression and irritibity, do you know i've read they've done trials with prozac on depressed canine's.[dogs]

Mr. Pig would likes to be squeezed alot.

I've got to run.

LATER!

My hamster sleeps for days at a time(even during the night when he's supposed to be active, coming out only a few minutes a day to pee, drink and eat. Then, all of a sudden, my hamster can't stop running around the wheel and his cage at night...climbing the bars and falling down over and over and over again! It's totally wierd...almost like he's manic or something!

Ya, I'm hear about dogs getting prozac too!

See ya

They do live a long time. I just lost one I had for 27 years and I'm not sure how old she was when I got her.

One of these days I'll take her out of the freezer and give her a proper burial.

Well, I doubt there is a cure for old age.

And I'm not sure I'd want to clone her.

I guess I just haven't gotten around to burying her.

It's only been a few months.
