Ways of thinking

I just happened upon this page that provides some tips for people with CFS, which I then learned means chronic fatigue syndrome. I think the tips applies to many people with low mood and problems with motivation.

Chronic fatigue to me means to budget available energy in some meaningful and efficient way. If I overdo or don't know when to quit, functioning ebbes away and I can't talk coherent, get lost, or totally space out so I don't register anything anymore around me. CFS for me is like running out of battery power, and sometimes it takes several days to recharge, thinking doesn't help because thinking is shut down along with the senses. LOL, just thought of the "out to lunch" sign hanging in the window-----siesta---hasta la vista.
Chronic fatigue to me is never fully waking up at all.
