There's something wrong with your roommate, not you. The more laughter, the better. I cry watching some shows. So what? Sometimes I'm the only one in a whole movie theater laughing. Call we quirky. Just don't call me late for dinner.

I do, all the time. And, if your roommate thinks people laughing out loud when they are alone watching tv is weird, then your roommate would think I was absolutely nuts because I sometimes even burst out laughing when I, for whatever reason, think about a joke or a funny scene from a movie that made me laugh in the past. Yup, I get some strange looks as I try to stifle a laugh when I am on the bus or in a store :-) (the old fake cough routine!) Who cares - not me! Hasn't your roommate ever heard the expression: Laughter is the best medicine? It doesn't matter when you get your medicine or if you get it alone or in the company of others, just as long as you get some (IMHO)! Keep laughing - I think it releases endorphins or something (don't quote me on that :-)).

If that were the case then I'm totally off the weird-o-meter.

I wonder what your roomy would make of me LMAO on peak hour trains and buses. Like TamaraJ sometimes all it takes is just a thought. This is all not even mentioning the unexplainable/irresistable urge to 'do a Pavarotti' sometimes. It's amazing how good a whole hearted Nessun Dorma can make you feel.

Based on that, you sound just fine to me.

i totally believe if you can't laugh at the funny stuff in life, a person might as well hang it up. Funny is what gets marriages and friendships thru the hard times. There will always be hard times...finding the funny in them is crucial.

Glad to know I'm not the weird one. I also sometimes have to stiffle a laugh at stores because of soemthing I think. My EX-roommate (I'm so glad the ex is there)is an introverted self-centered bi-otch. I'm more extroverted and, hopefully, not too self-centered. Match made in hell. Her and I work for the same company, and her and I eat with the same lunch crew. SO I still have to be polite to her. Anyway, I'm rambling, probably because I'm so sick of her snide comments every other day.

TV shows that make me laugh? mmm, that's a hard one. I laugh at a lot of random things. Okay, last night I laughed at Whose Line is it Anyways. And I laughed at Futurama (I know this is a cheesy show to like). What do you all laugh at?

yes, now see Napoleon Dynamite and really

LAUGH. I have never laughed harder at a movie in my whole life.

I have watched it 7 times. I laugh harder every time I watch it. It is the dumbest/funniest movie created.

As I sit here in my " Vote for Pedro" shirt. LOL

I was just going to snip down to Steven Wright, but there was Robin, right below. These two, and for very different reasons, always crack me up.

I loved Get Smart!!!

I spent most of my childhood pretending to be 99.

Oops! Now I've given myself away.

"Max" and "Larabie", if you happen to be reading... My mom's still living at the same place with the same number. :)

Oh I LOVED Get Smart, I loved it. I think I can probably remember all the episodes. I still pretend to have a shoe phone (no i'm *not* kidding)

Denis Leary.. definitely Denis.

Seems almost everyone likse Robyn Williams, he really gets under my skin. I find him disturbing.

What about Fang and Hymie? And Starkle zis is Chaos we do not zzzzzzzzzzzzzzt here! Or Harry Who, and "Not the Craw, the Craw". We have a stupidly designed 'breakout area' here affectionately know as the Cone of Silence.

That was the gag. Being Chinese and not able to pronounce his L's every time he told someone his name they'd look at him funny and say 'The Craw', hence his famous line. Always cracks me up.

My husband's favorite is Hymie. My husband always was a bit more sophisticated than I am. lol.

F-Troop...now there's another classic we watched religiously. Star Trek too.

as a female The Avengers was big for me with Emma Peel. She could defend herself completely and look good doing it. Back then you didn't see the two mix much.

All the talk about Get Smart (great show) got me thinking and laughing about Batman. The old TV show.

The day after it was on a girl I went to school with (and loved the show) would come into class and tell us all - in a *very* animated matter - all about the show, blow by blow. This took longer than the actual show did and had us all rolling.

Also - I still watch 'Laugh-in' reruns when I see them on.

Sock it to me.

Sorry you're doing it tough right now PC, but surely the mean stick posture I just pulled on the floor here by my desk brought a smile to your beautiful face. Wooo a corpse too, I'm on a roll. Hell let's do a swaying palm tree. Oh sit down Damos you're embarassing yourself.

This week's been pretty sucky for me too, so just know we love and care about you heaps PC.
