I was talking about the final four basketball teams in the NCAA tournament. It's the only thing that's perked me up for quite a long time....

Ah! You shame me! I'm a life-long MD fan but I didn't pick them past the sweet 16. I just think they are too young.....but I'll be thrilled if I'm wrong. :-)

It's just a whimsy. I think they may have already played their hearts out. Don't know how much they have left. We'll see tomorrow!
I find the tournament(s) to be a great distraction. I'm kind of lost when it's over...

Actually, I do have Duke going all the way, but alas, I believe it is a fantasy in my own mind. I love 'em (as you know), but they are a bit spotty and inconsistent.
And yes, the tears did flow in OVERTIME and the daughter's ex boyfriend (the MD one) HAD to call. We were in official mourning and were not taking calls.

some macadamia nuts (only a tbs)
a cup of tea
a good cup of fresh roasted coffee
Yogurt covered pretzels

As a person who HATES DOOK (no offense to those of you who don't!), I respectfully DISAGREE with all who have said they will be in the final four. As that would put them beating CAROLINA. And, hey, they've already beat us twice this season! When we meet up again in the Elite Eight, well, it won't be pretty...for DOOK.
I must stand by my Tar Heels.
That's all I will say on this matter.
