Favorite horror movies for All Hallows Eve?

It's not a genre I particularly enjoy, but I always liked Carrie. Probably because at the time I saw it my life experiences were such that I didn't see it as a horror movie, but a story of hope. :(

I like The Shining and just recently saw, OMG, that is not the name. I forgot the name. It was fairly good, the movie of a movie you rent and you die six days after watching it. It was pretty good. Based on a foreign (Japanese) film. I heard you should watch the Japanese (with subtitles) version first then the American. American version kind of screwed up the Japanese version. Of course you would have never known if you never watched the Japanese.

I have always been into horror films since I was a little kid.
