Tina over on PB 2000.....

Posted by Alii on January 10, 2003, at 13:31:22

Tina,

It has been very difficult to read your posts from December 2002 and many people were (and are) quite worried.

I am relieved to see your name again on these boards. I am saddened that you post such pain in your poem.

From the archives you've been through so much lately (Oct-Dec 2002)and I wish that there was some way to plead to you not to follow through on your intentions from December.

I hope and pray that you find solace with the support of family, friends or whoever it may be that can pierce through the darkness that seemingly envelopes you.

Please keep posting. (Even if it is just to PB 2000)

~Alii

Tina, I hope you read this.
If any one else knows Tina well, could they let her know about this please? Even a cut & paste to PB2000 maybe?

Tina, if you're still in the same frame of mind as you were last month & still considering your choice, please don't do anything without leaving your writings to someone who recognises & values their worth. You have an amazing way of using words to evoke such feelings & imagery.

I'm perfectly serious. Your writings are valuable & I'd hate to see them lost. They speak of who you are. The poem you wrote on PB2000 is both stark & beautiful. I could "see" it all plainly before me better than my eyes could've.

I hope you don't mind if I save your poem. I won't do anything with it other than to go back t from time to time to read. If you'd rather I not, I'll understand. You have an amazing ability to sculpt words.

You do have such a way with words Tina. I usually have trouble with poetry, but yours was very evocative.

I am so glad to see your name around again, although I am sorry you are still in such pain.

I'm posting this at PB2000 also, but I just want to say that Tina's photography is just as amazing as her magic with words.

I've seen numerous photos by her photos & they are just as evocative (sppppp???????) as her poem & her other writings.

Tina - I love looking at your photos. Just looking at one, can open the floodgates of my memory & fill me with emotion.

As to your use of words, the pain in this poem is beyond my comprehension, but yet again, you've been able to do, with words, what few people can.

How I wish I could take a giant blackboard brush & erase all the pain from the 'blackboard' of your life. All the 'how I wish' thoughts I have! How I wish I were geographically closer to you. How I wish I could give you a hug. How I wish we could sit cross-legged in my living room & play with clay, or just drink hot tea.

I want you to know that I love you trememdously.
((((((((((((((((((((((((you))))))))))))))))))))))
luv, Kath
