Brain Damaged

Posted by dreamerz on January 7, 2003, at 19:46:56

I was knocked unconscious whilst playing with a friend..my own fault showing off as usual.
Swinging one of those metal and wooden swings with noone in then running under it whislst it swung in the air.
The thing fell directly on my head.
Unconsciousness was nice I felt no pain.
My friend rushed me home my head pouring with blood.
My mother just toweled me and that was that.
My head had an open scar for a long time (years)always scabbed up then I'd scratch it off when it itched.
I was just thinking if it knocked me mental cause it didn't knock no sense into me.

Maybe it just knocked you delightfully off-kilter.

OK, I have a confession, I was cruising some TBI (traumatic brain injury) websites recently to read the horror stories. It makes me feel better to know my brain is in relatively good shape. In fact my brain works darn well at lots of things, and yours does too.
