To paraphrase an old English nursery rhyme:
"Oh, lovely Vancouver, where it rains 8 days out of 7."
Not actually Vancouver, but about 50 km from it in the Fraser Valley area, BC, Canada - great place to spend your winters if you also have SAD.

Nebraska is also home to a multitude of husker hicks. game day is not a fun day. and their are lots of smelly cows, but theirs more smelly cows in Iowa.

I thought it was the neatest thing. I drove cross country and felt like I was on a rollercoaster in Nebraska. It's a state I will never forget.

lol, it might be a nice place to visit or drive through, but its not fun to live in. the roads are only fun in the summer when they arent covered in two sheets of ice and 4 or 5 inches of snow.

Read where pedr is from. The reference to another town in Wales with all the double consonants and too few vowels and the name being a hundred letters long......it's the welsh language. I find it funny in a cute way. Didn't mean any offense.

The lovely Fingerlakes Region in central NY state, it's like Little Switzerland here! Huge hills, glacier-formed lakes in the valleys. Home to one of the best wine-making areas in the country, the vineyards thrive on the hillsides, and get the cooling, drying effects of the breezes off the lakes... I can't put into words how gorgeous it is... Definitely one of those must-see areas when you're in NY state.
