thank you for your time, if you want to share it.

What immediately comes to mind for me is: surrender. We must decrease and He increase. And rather than looking at God as an object that we want more of, just let God have more of us.

Abiding in the Vine and growing in the fruit of the Spirit have nothing for the self to do. When the self is out of the way, we draw nigher to God.

Now that's an interesting answer-- I never considered that cleaning/organizing could be spiritual.

Tai daluna,
You wrote,[...what do you do to be closer to your God...]?
In my faith experiance, I saw a Rider on a White Horse. There was a discussion about what you asked and the Rider said to me," Seek the Lord while He may be found,Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrightious man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him and abundantly pardon.
For God's thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways God's ways.
And you shall go out in joy, and be led out with peace.
The moountains and hills shall break forth into singing before you,
And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Thank you for your interest in this discussion. There was a lot said between us after that conversation. If you could give me some more infomation as to the reason that you have for wanting to know what transpirered after me hearing what I have posted, then I could focus on what was said that could be relevant to your intersts.

Jai,

I would very much like to tell you what was said. You see, I was here awhile back, perhaps before you joined this forum. I would like to continue but if you had something in mind from the post that you responded to me about, I thought that we could go directly to your question and that would be more expediant. I would have to do a search to find my last post unless you know of it?

Dear Lou
I thought I was here close to when this site began.
I am terribly sorry if I missed your post.
I am so curious how these horsemen approached you? and why you were open to them? and why they approached you at all?
I have never been approached by horsemen.

I am so uncertain as to how to ask you to explain.
You seem to ask others to explain what they mean.
I am confused by this. why do ask this so often?
Do you really need the clarification?

I am confused.
Thanks
Jai

Cleaning the house isn't spiritual in and of itself. When clutter and chaos impede the feelings of self worth of one who has faith already and who studies scripture, goes to church, worships god, they feel unworthy and lose desire to pray. Therefore, lifting ourself by creating more order, has an aligning effect with God. After all, (people of my faith believe) God's house is one of order too.

Cleaning the house isn't spiritual?

I know someone who thinks cleaning is a spiritual practice.
She told me she is rubbing prana (do you know what the word prana means?) into objects and removing old energy and blockages.
So in reality some people see cleaning as spiritual.
I must say when I see her house cleaned with this intention it does shine with an ethereal light.

Dear Lou, isn't this a quote from the Revelation? Did the rider quote to you from the New Testament?
Or am I totally mistaken now, please explain to me...
