christed beings

You know in this time of the Aquarian age we will all be the Christed beings.
Jesus is cool but he shares it with us all now.

It has been said when Christ returns the righteous will be "like" Him. We have quite a way to go, but you're on the right track, when you strive for world/inner peace. Creation teaches that pure truth was ever present in the beginning, and I believe elements of that truth are still found in all religions.

You post such interesting thoughts. I have no idea what you mean by "christed beings" but I would suggest this is a future event, that we are not quite there yet.

As Dena says, it all seems to fit, and as ray says, as part of the giant teepee. I would hope that our similarities might unite us.

This just doesn't fit with the words of Jesus Himself, when He said that one day He would separate us all into the sheep on His right, and the goats on His left... (you'd have to read for yourself what happens to each group...)

I guess He would have to be mentally imbalanced to make such a statement, and then go on to say that we'll ALL become "Christed beings".

Or perhaps He was right the first time? Perhaps He knew what He was saying? Perhaps others have attempted to alter His words to better suit themselves?

I do know that in the final summation, we'll all be surprised by the revelation of Truth in its fullness ... many misconceptions will fall away.

I'm in search of that Absolute Truth - I want to be as little surprised as possible.

Shalom, Dena

thank you jai. your words gave me a spiritual lift. yes we are all christ--or can be, any time. we can be like him, meaning a son or daughter of god, by knowing this. maybe the most unchristlike thing to do is be a christian worshipper of jesus.
I mean, christ wasnt a christian. he was just showing us what we can be, too.
thats just my feelings, a gnostic-leaning resident of the great midwest.

thanks again.

I always choose to show my respect and love for Him by honoring His name with capital letters: Jesus Christ.

Perhaps you could elaborate how I, as a Christian worshipper of Jesus, am being the most "unChristlike" I can be.

If I'm doing something unChristlike by worshipping Jesus, I'd certainly like to know, so that I can repent.

However you may have intended your comment, please know that I'm being very sincere.

I take a gnostic view of jesus' life and teachings...part of that is understanding that, like jesus, we are all sons of god. we are all sparks of the divine spark.
implied in that view is there is no reason to ask anyone for forgiveness, even jesus. he is an example to follow, not worship. (There is a whole body of knowledge parallel to the established church doctrines that elaborate on the more mystical interpretations. see gnosis.org if youre interested.) When the disciples said that they should wash his feet, as a way of honoring him or worshipping him, jesus insisted on washing theirs. I take this to mean "its not about Me, love and serve others". He also said that the Kingdom is here already--not something he was going to bring to us as a king or ruler. He repeatedly speaks of worshipping the Father (not himself). "Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother." He does exhort people to "follow him", saying that "No one is good-except God alone" (mark 10:17).
Yes, my opinion is that worshipping jesus is unchristlike. That just follows from what I think jesus was and represents. I guess it all depends on who jesus is to us and what, exactly, worshipping is.
I hope this explained a little.

To think that you are separate from God is just an ego trick. Christ knew what he was, he knew that he was eternal energy even in the physical body, and so are we, just most don't realize it.

Think about it this way. Forget your personality, strip it away and what are you left with? The energy that causes your heart to beat, your nerves to fire, your brain to filter and basically be the battery and your body to experience. Every other speck in eternity is also this energy. The oceans, the trees, wind, sun, you name it, is this energy in action. The difference is whether or not you realize it, and then determining how you channel, feed, direct and open up to it even more. Being thankful for all things in your life, being the observer and being there for others without judgement, practicing yoga and meditation are all ways to increase your vibrations and to finally see the truth. We are all christed beings, just most don't know it.

What you say makes a lot of sense. There are many similarities between religions, but most people just refuse to acknowledge them. Though I don't fully understand the core of your belief, and you don't understand the core of mine, we can both agree in our own understanding.

It's like music.
