Self Hatred Gained Weight

Posted by Poet on February 1, 2009, at 16:45:18

The scale is not wrong, my jeans are too tight and I have allowed myself to gain nearly 10 pounds. I am a fat ugly cow.

My water aerobics instructor noticed that we have similar swimsuits only hers is much more worn out. She jokingly said, "if you left that in the locker room I'd take it, though you might be s little bit smaller than me." And she is not thin, she's plus sized. It is official I am fat. Fat, fat, fat. I can't stand this.

Hi Sam,

Purging isn't working, dieting like a "normal" person by cutting calories and exercising isn't working, either. Maybe one of those fasting diets, though being bulimic, restricting food would be hard, but not as hard as seeing how fat I am.

I know wanting to flip out very well, if my husband and I didn't share one bathroom, I'd blacken out the mirrors, especially the full length one on the door. Though I look down and see how tight my jeans still are.

Thanks for letting me vent and, unfortunately, for understanding feelig like a big fat ugly cow.

what's so wrong with being fat? whether you are fit is what counts. you can be fat and fit. have good blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. and still be "fat". focus on being fit, not whether you are fat.
