According to Jean-Jacques Rousseau, whomever made such a statement would be deserving of exile. It is worth noting, Rosseau's devotees committed some 1,300 extrajudicial executions in France.Rosseau also said, in reference to women, "Unable to judge for themselves they should accept the judgement of father and husband as that of the church."

It is worth noting that Rousseau advocated against use of force. Also, I underestimated the body count. It was closer to 17,000 lives, I believe.
