Lou's request to the administration

Posted by Lou Pilder on April 7, 2005, at 8:22:45

To the administration,
I am requesting that you put a halt on the thread on the faith board that writes things that IMO have the potential to be about the jews in relation to them rejecting the jesus of christiandom as their Messiah. I feel that this is IMO has the potential for some others to consider that this is accusatory toward the Jews of the historical use of [...the jews rejected their own Messaiah...] which I , as a Jew, am objecting to that being allowed to be posted here.

I now wish I had never posted in this thread on Faith. What started out as a small tribute to JP II by rayww has just turned into the same old debate.

Wish I could delete that post. It was a great idea but somehow seems sullied now.

Friends,
I am asking for a halt because I do not think that the parts about the jews belong in a tribute to the Pope. I think that one could write tributes to the Pope without writing things that IMO hjave the potential for some others to arrouse the historical writings about the [...jews rejecting their own Messiah...]. Is it not a fact that the nation of Isreal as a whole does not consider the Jesus of christiandom to be their promised Messiah?
I am asking that others here take into consideration the feelings of others that could,IMO,feel accused by the writing of anything that could have the potewntial to mean that the jews as a whole have rejected their own Messiah.

Friends,
It is written here that the word "sullied" is used in relation to some aspect of the thread in question.
It is not my intention to sully, which has the potential IMO to mean to {defile}, anything here.
The administration is allowing the thread and I am not requesting that a determination from the administration be made as to the acceptability or not in relation to the guidlines of the forum, for since there has been no addressing of the posts in the thread, then by Dinah's posts that write that if no addressing has been made after Dr. Hsiung has, (something like makes a pass over the board), then it is accptable. So since I believe that it has already been determined to be acceptable here, then I am requesting that a halt to the thread be made. My request for a halt does not mean that one could not start a new thread about the Pope and leave out the part that IMO has the potential to arrouse the historical use about [...the Jews rejecting their Messiah...]
The historical use of ,[..the Jews rejected their Messiah...] has been tied into what is called {replacement theology}. The theology has one part that goes something like,[...since the Jews rejected their Messiah, then God has rejected the Jews and replaced them with others that have accepted Jesus as the Messiah of the jews and all mankind ...]
I feel that just because it is acceptable here to post writings that IMO have the potential to arrouse that theological doctrine, that I can sstill not make my objections to it being allowed here, on the administrative board which I believe is for this purpose. I believe that just because something is acceptable here, that that does not mean that it is a sound mental- health practice to allow it, and that I can not request a halt to its continuance, for the acceptability or not is not my concern in this instance.
