Do you think 'trust nobody' is good advice?

I got that from a doctor way back. Maybe I adhere to much to it.

As I see it, people who can't trust have psychological issues, the most severe of which is probably paranoid personality disorder. Sure, not trusting helps you avoid getting betrayed or "back-stabbed", but trusting (having faith) feels good and its absence exposes you to pessimism and pathological doubt. Moreover, if you can't trust anyone else, you have to do everything yourself, which is not only a lot of work, but also means you can't get far because you cannot collaborate with others.

it depends where you are, because there's people that will say there like your friend, but are not, and do evil to you. It just...depends, yeah where you are, who you are assoicating with, use your gut and intution to know who's not to be trusted. Defeintly do not trust people, who tell you other people's secrets. Don't trust people who are loyal to their need of you, not loyatly to you. Don't trust people lie freqnently, and or someone who says there helping you, but they expect somethign in return. Thtat's all i can think of. Use your intution, or your gut feelings to know if someone is a frenemy, or a friend. Frenemy is acting as your friend, not trueness

It's probably not beneficial to "trust nobody" but at the same time, it's not beneficial to trust any one individual too much. Gather a range of opinions and perspectives, including your own.

Doctors are only a reflection of the totality of medical information available at this time. There is so much we don't know about the brain, and hence it is very important to respect the unknown. The unknown is much greater than the known.

I mean trusting someone more not to betray me than trusting facts.
