There is another non dopamine antagonist antipsychotic called KarXT:

Very interesting. This is a completely different target. TAAR1 agonists may be useful in multiple neuropsychiatric disorders.

I might actually feel younger with 40 than with 30, if they make progress better treatment. It is not over yet. No wonder that so many reject treatment with those reward blocking drugs. I don't. I have learned my lesson. But I'm not exactly happy with it.

Yes, but KarXT works on the cholinergic system.

I was just commenting on the link provided:

"Ulotaront, an agonist at the trace amine-associated receptor 1 (TAAR1) and 5-hydroxytryptamine type 1A (5-HT1A) receptors, received breakthrough therapy designation from the US Food and Drug Administration. The agonist does not bind to D2 or 5-HT2A."

I don't think I would try KarXT. The net cholinergic effect would be central, but this (in my opinion) could lead to depression.

I agree that it might have a depressive effect, but I would still try it, if for no other reason to see if I'm right.
