Do Neuroleptics make you feel 'old'?

And if so, is there any fix? It is kind of like an antidrug that brings you down. I am pretty darn down to be honest with you.

I thought you were doing pretty good after starting the 5-HTP. Has it become worse recently?

No, neuroleptics don't make me feel old. Fix? Quit 'em.

It is more of a general feeling that has creeped in in the last 5 years than an acute worsening. This sh*t just slows me down. I mean, it does the opposite of what drugs do. Who wants that? I am not saying I want to take drugs, but I don't like taking "antidrugs" either. I want some elation sometimes :( Yeah, maybe I can considerably reduce them once I worked through my psychological issues with my psychologist. My attitude changes in a good way, I can tell.

I still am confronted with BS, but it doesn't consume me anymore. I get a text or whatsapp I don't like, think about it for 10 minutes and then move on. Couldn't do that previously.

Right. I'm assuming you mean recreational drugs.

I think we all do. But it's best to avoid mania, as it comes with consequences that are not worth it.

That's great. I wish I had access to that.

I think we all think too much about the wrong things sometimes. I know I do, but thankfully it isn't all too often.

What I mean is euphoria. It needn't ccme from drugs and it needn't be mania. Running, dating, dancing etc. for example. The neuroleptics suppress it for me. Don't pathologize feeling good.
