Abject misery, pathetic coping skills

PLAYING ON THE DOWN-BOUND

Wanna grab me my guitar
and sing myself some blues
but I'm a fat ole white boy
got me no more booze

Now a fat ole black boy
don't give a damn about that
he just singin' with them angels
and the blues is where it's at.

but this fat ole white boy
got nothin' black, oh no
Just a big hole where his soul
usedta be.

so us fat ole white boys who ain't
got no soul
we just gotta spend our time
stick to Schlock and role.

....playing

pills for what ails you
ale to wash down the pills
whatever happened to the time
when the juke box could cure
your ills.

"A quickie, while she's away..."
John Entwhistle, late of the
Who. Kissed the sky doing a
snort or two.

An aside: can any one tell me if the Ramones are finally all sedated? Cockeyed
