I know I was created in passion. Really. My parents were absolutely passionate about each other, they still are. A love child in the truest sense. That's me, I'm so fortunate. I can't imagine anything else, now. Knowing what I know, it's so powerful to know that your creation was out of loving lust. I'm just really fortunate that that's true for me; I'm a lucky person. To know that, too. Because I think a lot of us were created in that spirit, and we just don't understand how that is such an incredible blessing, because it's one less step than others might have to take, people who can't say they were created in love, because it might not be true, and how does that affect them? Does it? I'm wondering. Because I know that understanding the love that created me into being is such a huge relief, there's so much freedom here.

Susan, I still can't figure out these boards. I mean I'm a feeb. But I've never read anything like you wrote. And it opened the door that was always shut on the dirty doings of parents in rut. The message to me was keep yur hands to yorself, no woman wants some one pawing at them.and i wonder why my old man died in a bar and why my nutty aunt would laff, 'she won't give him none' Ah, family style, family life. thank god someone celebrates the gift of life and doesn't make it crawl like some thing on a floor to be swept under the carpet behind the locked door. Whew, glad I could say this and thanks, cockeyed.

What you saw, what your aunt saw, what everyone came to believe, including your mom, maybe, was that the passion was never there. But maybe because it went for one of them, it never did go for the other, maybe your dad craved it back, that passion, the one that you never knew your parents had, but I'll bet they did.
