whose writing?

Posted by henrietta on April 21, 2005, at 21:00:39

First visit to this place. Can we talk about other writing? Iwant to recommend I Me Mine, and Don't Let Me Down (well the whole album is brilliant), but for starters, these two. I think I Me Mine is about narcissism, that inflicted and then that defensive and healthy response. (Healthy to a point, but potentially an infliction passed on.) Don't Let Me Down, I suppose, speaks for itself...
Oh, I've lost it. I was just thinking tonight (for the hundredth time) how perceptive, how there, Beatles lyrics were, and how much there is to learn from them--or relearn, rehear. reknow

Thanks for asking. I've been thinking this would be more for the writing of posters and Books more for that of others...
