effexor xr withdrawal and menstrual periods

Can Effexor XR withdrawal affect regularity of menstrual periods (ie delay)? I'm 51 so perhaps it's a perimenopausal thing.

Thanks.

i have noticed when my body is under stress (mental stress, or physical illness) my periods are late. if you are experiencing withdrawal maybe the stress of it has delayed your period. i don't know though, just speculating.

Hi there

I am 39 and found that coming off Efexor did effect my cycle quite a bit during and after coming off it. During my detox I actually felt like I was in the early stages of pregnancy ie: breasts were large and very sore. My body eventually settled back into it's normal cycle and all is O.K now.

Hope that this helps.
