This contractor came out today that we have known for several years. He is a super nice guy. I asked if his kid was still working for him. He said they lost him two years ago. He was severely depressed, into meth hard and shot himself. My heart sank. He didnt cry but he was certainly feeling sadness. We talked a little about him, his boy, and I added some of my own expereience for support. Another person that doesnt understand the reasons for mental illness. I hope I helped. Will miss Ed, Good luck Hank...

I'm sorry to hear this story. I'm glad you were able to help in some small way by giving him someone to talk to with some understanding. Meth is killing our country right now.

My wife has several times been able to use her knowledge from my experiences to be supportive of work friends and aquaintences. We've got to help each other the best we can.

I don't want to be a sad story some day.

Scarey.

I just posted about my son who's in BC - details on Social Board.

When he was in BC when he was 17 or so, he was on meth. I'm so scared with him being on the streets now that he'll do it again. He says he & girlfriend are clean except for weed for 2 weeks now.

oh dear.

Kath
