> 1) Fear of failing to quit drinking
Is there anything else in your life that you are failing because you are drinking?
> 2) Fear of coping without it
Do you feel as if you are coping now?
> 3) Fear of withdrawal
Do you feel connected to your family and friends already?
> 4) Treatment: burden on family
Are you a burden on them because you are drinking?
> 5) Treatment: black mark on me
Do you think that the amount you drink isn't marking you already?

Lar, it gives me a very special feeling when you reply to my posts. Somehow I predicted the replies would be in the form of a question. This would make an awesome Jeopardy category. "I'll take abusive drinking for 400, please."
This one I took particular notice to:
> > 3) Fear of withdrawal
> Do you feel connected to your family and friends already?I actually thought this one over a few times right before saying, "Duh. I get it."
You absolutely have the best way of provoking me into thinking more about myself. I can handle that.

Anyway, curt, it feels like I know you. Sometimes, you just meet people who you "get", almost instinctively. Well, you been got.
You've been in a rut, and part of that rut is asking the same questions over and over and over. I just figured it was time to change the questions. You can't get the answers you need until you start asking yourself the right questions.

Oooopsy.
I meant to say that I had been in a crappy moment before I read your post, and all I could manage was a simple acknowledgement. It wasn't crappy because I read your message.
Sorry about the poor syntax.
