they were Milky Way/ Snickers...i figure there isn't much chocolate in those....and he's eaten more without the vet being concerned....
He also threw up 5 times since...so i guess he didn't get most (any?) of it.

When my son was small, I took him trick or treating, and decided to bring our dog,Sam, along. At one house, my son rang the bell, said trick or treat, with Sam by his side. When the homeowner handed my son his candy, Sam jumped up and grabbed it out of her hand! Sam was no longer allowed to go to the doors after that. Dogs eating chocolate? My dog ate a 1/2 brownie one time, and the vet said it had to be alot of real strong dark chocolate to hurt him, but that he might throw up. He never threw up...

This is the first year we had more than a couple of trick or treaters. We actually came close to running out! We haven't bought much for years, because our neighborhood is older. But two families of kids just moved in on our block. And the kids on the next block seem to be older and out and about more.
It's nice. Tho it was always our goal to live somewhere where we were the youngest and craziest people around.
This is the end of the thread.
