I told my husband and best friend of 10 yrs that I think we should get a divorce tonight. I have two kids a one yr old and a four yr old with him. I told him that he should take the kids and that I need to go away. I hate myself so much and wish that I could just enjoy my f**king life and treat my family good. I told him that I dont want o keep ruining their lives because when I call him crying needing help, he comes home but never with his superman cape on. He just comes home and acts frustrated and treats the kids just a frustrated as I did so no help basically. Yeah some straightening up of the house here and there but not what I would need. I need someone who is not going to make me feel that I am frustrating them when I need help but NO ONE is like that! Everyone has their own lives and they are too f**king busy to help me. I am just done and tired of this bullsh*t life I live. I'm too chicken sh*t to kill myself so no one needs to worry about that (not like they f**king would anyways!!!!) The worst part is that he just doesnt seem to care. He asks "well, where are you going to go?"and makes no remarks on how can he help me or try to help me with this hell I live in! I just have nothing but hate and resentment towards life in my soul.

My kids are grown but between them not ever contacting me and a husband that is rather passive aggressive with me I know what you mean I'm thinking Costa Rica? Phillipa

We talked about that but I think he needs his own individual therapy first and he needs to be informed about what a spouse of a bipolar person should do in times of crises. He is one of those "well I cant do anything to help you!" guys when I need him to be one of those" Im here for you baby, everythings gonna be ok" type of men.

ugh! I'm sorry about that :-( that sounds like it sucks :-(
but maybe you're the best one to inform him, with some help from a third party??
It's not fun to feel so alone.

I hate having a significant other who drops me when things get wacky. I feel for you. it's good you're taking some action.my aunt did belize, she had a helluva time. :)
