I'm eating cactus pears and I am swallowing all the seeds whole. I've swallowed a lot of seeds. Is this OK to do?

To my knowledge, the only reason swallowing seeds would be if a person has diverticulitis. (Or is it diverticulosis?) Pockets in the bowel well.

Didn't your mother tell you that if you swallow seeds, a big plant will start growing out of your tummy?
