I think it started in August last year, but I'd forgotten. Would have started upping my St. John's Wort if I'd remembered.
Does anyone else have this?
I hope the stuff I do to help it kicks in by Sept 5th, when DH & I go to a week at a cottage we rent near Parry Sound, Ontario.
Son is going up with us & will camp at a nearby Provincial Park (Killbear, where I used to go in June each year). We'll get together to do a few things....go canoeing & maybe a hike.
Kath
PS - I hope I can get feeling better so I can enjoy the week....I was sort of 'not there' during our camping week.
The "does not enjoy things that one used to enjoy" part of depression was really present.

Is it because the days are getting shorter?
They must be long enough? Maybe too long?
It was over 30 here at the end of winter and I'm dreading summer.
I wrote an incoherent sentence on the main board. There should be punishments for people who write bad sentences. (But what?) I still haven't got the who/whom thing under my belt.

> Is it because the days are getting shorter?
~ ~ I'm not sure. I think it might be the angle of the sun in the sky also; but the sun sure feels strong when it shines. It was 30 for a few days when we were camping; exhausting!
> They must be long enough? Maybe too long?LOL - when I'm feeling crappy they feel too long!!
> It was over 30 here at the end of winter and I'm dreading summer.~ 30 degrees & above is HARD to take!!

I am appalled that you would write an incoherent sentence!!!
;-) LOL I have no idea about the who/whom thing!!!
I send you marvellous hugs.xo Kath

Good morning Kath
There are people of whom it is said, that they are unable to write a bad sentence. Unfortunately I am not one of these. I, who so frequently make errors of not only grammar but also taste, must rely on the kindness of strangers. You, for whom the northern hemisphere is your natural abode, may never know what it is like to walk upside down on the earth. I, for whom grammar is an aspiration rather than an achievement, who has yet been able to etc etc.
What about would could may might must ought should?
(They sound like verbs. What if some smart English student should ask me to explain?)
Therein lies the whole catastrophe of our lives.Hugs

There've been fires already, PJ. It's only August. I'm so glad I don't live in Victoria. It looks already as if it will be a frightful season. Since I started buying my winter clothes in op-shops where the staff are so much more pleasant and straightforward, I have a number of fashion items, but, alas, no jumpers. I'd like to have one of those those old fashioned sleeveless jumpers that are worn outside the pale cream viyella shirt.

Hey Dec, okay, you say you're not the greatest at Grammar etc.
BUT - you are one of the most brilliantly intellectual people I've encountered!!
Some of the books you read etc & some of your comments have led me to believe this.
Plus - you're way way cool.
Hmmm - maybe being upside down increases the flow of blood to your brain & hence the glowing intellectual ability.
:-)
((((((you)))))

PS - now you can send me that cheque for $25 okay?
;-))

Now Phillipa - hands off!!
We have some pretty special guys here at PB, don't we.
I wish there really wish there was such a thing as a 'transporting machine' so we could all see each other when we wanted to.
