Not a computer, just the internet is cut at home. Can't do anything. Plus the lap, doesnt have a SSL certifcate, can't log into facebook/youtube accounts ugh....
Can't wait till my mom stop procrastinating getting it repair, be a melliumn. Dial up is just 11.99, depends on the service.
DSL is 19.99, plus how much speed you want.

My heartfelt sympathies.
Sometimes I think about how not so very long ago I'd have to go to a library to look up some fact. Or go to the mall and accept what they had to offer instead of having the whole world as my mall. Or ordering memorabilia from Hank's Americana and prices far higher than you'd pay today on eBay because there was no ready access to sell the stuff in people's attics.
I don't know what I did before the internet, but I know I now consider my internet my lifeline to the rest of the world.
What sort of internet connection do you have? How is it broken?
