And I splashed myself with soy sauce on my just-out-of-the-laundry WHITE tshirt. Why o why o why do I even bother putting clean clothes on?
It was pretty good sushi for supermarket stuff. My big mistake was using chopsticks. I can only use them properly if I'm chemically impaired. Otherwise I think too hard about it, and splat!! there went the sushi into the soy sauce.Carry on.

I'm impressed you can EVER use chopsticks properly. I've just never been able to get the hang of them. I might be able to pick something up, but I have the eat the whole thing. There's no taking a bite and expecting the rest to stay secure.
I'm also the world's worst about dropping food on my shirt...even using regular utensils. I might as well wear a bib.
What kind of sushi did you get?

It was spicy seafood with cucumber. Yum. Well worth the sacrifice of the tshirt.
I used to have these practice chopsticks that looked like enormous plastic tweezers. I brought them to a restaurant once and the waitstaff snickered at me all evening. I do best when I get my face as close to the plate as possible and just kind of scoot the food in the direction of my mouth. My mistake today was in sitting up straight. If I'd have slouched over the plate, I'd still have clean clothes.
I guess if that's the worst thing I have to gripe about today, life is pretty good, eh?
