I just *cranked* on the guitar

It feels real good to get a series of songs, on the "first take".

Yeah! Now that's alive!

Even if it is a side-effect of the medication. ;-)

mmm I love that feeling when the instrument is "playing you" and you just let it happen. When things "click" and the mind and fingers & instrument are one being. organic.

will you play me some Styx? (nm) » Larry Hoover

Neil Young. My man. I used to live in a house that looked up onto what Neil called Sugar Mountain. He used to live up that hill, outside Omemee, with his dad, Scott. And my living room window looked up there.

Anyway, back to the theme. I am taking my son Alexander to his first rock concert tonight. The Cult. "Wildflower" "Love Removal Machine" "She Sells Sanctuary" "Fire Woman"

Guitar hooks. Bar chords.

p.s. I read your psychology posts. I don't know how to respond. I'm sad that I can't help you the way you helped me, but I'm listening. Thank you for sharing yourself.

One of these days.....you never know. One of these days, you might hear me in a different context than that with which you are already familiar.

Lovely. Joyful. My son's neck hurt, from his head movements. A really well-done show. Ex-substance/people abusers, rehabbed and rocking clean. Back to their joy. Nothing in the way.

If only the weather had co-operated.

> Was it cool?

Yes, precisely. Oh, that was kind of neat. It was cool and KEWL.

Oh, yeah. Lasting memory traces are in effect.

Thank you for listening. That's all I need, right now. So, you have done precisely what was needed.
