I need to find Larry's butter tarts!

Posted by Deneb on May 28, 2006, at 21:15:51

I'm making it a mission of mine to find butter tarts as good as the ones Larry bought for us at the Babble party.

I still remember how they tasted.

I went out with friends today. We walked around downtown and I stopped in some random bakery to buy butter tarts. They were disappointing. They weren't as bad as the ones from the grocery store, but nowhere near as good as Larry's magic butter tarts. I considered giving them out to a street beggar, but I didn't run into any. It's not worth the calories. LOL The ones Larry bought were worth every calorie. :-)

Maybe it's best if I don't find them....I don't want to get any fatter.

I remember typing a reply to this, but it isn't here, so.....

I named that recipe, that form, Magick, because they are a step above all other butter tarts. I don't know why. I don't what's in them. But they are the best. That's all there is to that.

Indeed. Calorie counting was temporarily suspended at Babblefest.

I feel sad that we got split up after Dr. Bob's workshop presentation. I had close to three dozen left, in my car. I would happily have sent you off with some. Instead, I was forced to take them home, where I was forced to end their itty bitty selves. One by one.

Kidding, but it was tempting.

Little magick things that they are.

I'm glad for your validation. I did go on and on about them. They really are that good.
