i admit, i have been watching Idol b/c of Chris and he got the boot?! i thought for sure he would win. anyone know the band that plans to ask him to be their lead singer???

Chris should be the next American Idol I demand a recount and the show done again. Otherwise this is the last season I will watch it and I think a lot of others feel the same. See how the ratings go down. Love Phillipa

I was really torn by the results show. Katharine has been my favourite contestant overall, but Chris was a close second, and he clearly put out a better performance Tuesday night. I realised when they revealed the bottom two that, either way, I wouldn't be too happy about the results. Not that Taylor and Elliot haven't been putting out some good stuff, they just don't appeal to me too much.
Needless to say, this probably isn't a good show to be watching regularly before exams. Thank goodness the final episode comes after I'm done.

I imagine you're referring to the message boards? At any rate, I've been, and I have heard the talk over the voting having been slanted, to say the least.
I don't know. Despite its interference with exams, I am a fairly casual viewer - motivated mostly by curiousity, I'd say - and, being Canadian, an ineffectual one at that. I have to admit it leaves me largely unable to relate to the extent of the outrage which has resulted from this, though I can see how it would be upsetting for those more involved in what has been going on.
