I don't know the answer to your question but I was just thinking about you and your dog and wondering how you were.
How old are you? What do you want the divorce to accomplish?
I'm sorry your family is causing problems for you.

~issue can be very stressful indeed but you can 'divorce' your family by walking away from them. it is hard but if they cause you more harm than good, then it is worth it IMO. i walked away when i was a teen and being in my 20's, it is the best thing i did. i am living my life and raising my boys in the type of environment that i always wanted and needed. do what is best for you.

I have also divorced my disfuctional abusive family too. Never regreted it either. Now I have my own kids and we are happy.

Just don't give them money or presents or call on the phone. It's easy and less stress. Love Phillipa
