my hair is almost to my booty...i have had long hair most my life. i'm thinking of going shoulder length, maybe a tad shorter but am being indecisive..lol i know it's 'only' hair and grows back but...i will soon have a newborn and a 1 year old along w/ the fact that i have never been a hair fix up or make up girl....uugghhh my lifestyle says go shorter but it's just always been long...

Anytime someone says they have really long hair and are going to cut it, thats the first thought I have. A short cut would be cute and easy to handle with a new baby too.

Go for it! What better time for a new 'do?! I was a long hair gal for most of my life, but have had it short for a few yrs. I'm in the process of growing it back, mostly for variety. But I do think it would be easier w/ the teeny tiny kiddies to have short hair.
Make sure to post before and after pix. :)
Best,
EE

I'm sure you'll look lovely with long or short hair.
I cut mine off after baby no4 because I was having to schedule it in my diary to find time to wash it and I figured life was just too hectic and short to have to do that!
Sometimes I regret it, I think hubby regrets it but mostly I'm a 'wash & go' girl now, I might let it creep to shoulder length again but I hate that 'inbetween' stage which takes for ages.

but mine has been cut 2x in a few months and still keeps growing like wildfire. the prenatal V's play a roll too so it will grow back. it will look better than brushed and put up EVERY day...lol

Do you want to blow dry your hair and wash it everyday? Will you have time for that. It's easy at your age to put in a pony tail or use barrettes to keep it out of your eyes. Love Jan

I'd say go for it!!!!
I'm in Ontario, Canada & up here people can donate their hair to an organization that uses the hair to make wigs for cancer kids (I believe it's kids; maybe adults also) who have lost theirs from having had chemotherapy.
Sometimes schools, etc do 'fundraisers' where people get their hair cut off & donate it for cancer wigs.
Knowing that's where your hair went might make it feel different & might even make the decision easier. I guess you braid your hair & then cut off however much you want to.
Good luck making your decision!
